I have worked in branding for companies such as Fender and VH1, and done script writing and off-air editorial for Fender Play, Logo, Freeform, the Weather Channel and Full Frontal With Samantha Bee.
COURSE & LESSON DESCRIPTIONS
Fender Play, Fender’s online guitar, bass and ukulele instruction program includes an extensive library of lessons for songs that subscribers can learn. I wrote descriptions of the songs, as well as brief summaries for what players would learn in the courses and the lessons. Here’s a couple of examples.
BRAND VOICE BIBLE
I developed concepts and wrote the copy for VH1’s 2010 brand bible, a 27-page printed book that was shared with advertisers to showcase the network’s programming and brand identity. I’ve shared the cover and a few pages here.
A.M. NEW YORK AD WRAP
I conceptualized and wrote the copy for a wrap that was distributed with an issue of A.M. New York to advertise the broadcast of VH1’s Divas concert event in 2009.
OTHER STUFF
