Liner Notes / Essays

As a music writer, I have been afforded the opportunity to write liner notes for albums and collections, including a 27 disc box set of Bob Dylan’s live recordings from 1974 with The Band and most recently wrote the liner notes for Rhino’s deluxe reissue of the Replacements’ Let It Be. I also contributed an essay on Chrissie Hynde to NPR’s book How Women Made Music and wrote the rock ‘n’ roll chapter for Taschen’s book celebrating the 75th anniversary of Atlantic Records.
